The program of the Sonshine Pre-school was established in 1976 to provide an educational experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere for children 2 years through 5 years of age, and is an outreach of Christian love and service to the families and children of the community.

First day of the school year is after Labor Day in September. School will be open all year except for the following Holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day & the following Friday
- Christmas vacation:
- School will be closed for 2 weeks
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- President Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
Parents must pay for all holidays except Christmas vacation.
